When we produced the NY Easter Seal Telethon, Ernie was one of our hosts. ![]()

Telethons are some of the most difficult TV programs to produce. They run non-stop for hours. And they can be grueling, especially for those who are on-camera for much of that time.![]()

Ernie was perfect. He handled the pressures of marathon live television with a smile, humor and good grace.![]()

Thanks to his participation, the telethon exceeded its fund-raising goals, enabling Easter Seals to help many more people across the NY metro area. ![]()
