Selena Gomez Teases New Music While Debuting Blunt Bob Hairstyle On TikTok

Selena Gomez is no stranger to switching up her hair, and her latest look is *perfect* for fall. The Only Murders In The Building star debuted a chic blunt bob in a series of TikToks that she started posting on October 19. In the first clip, she promoted a watch party for the OMITB season finale, and fans were quick to comment on her new look.

“YOU LOOK SO GOOD WITH SHORT HAIR SELENA,” one user wrote under the clip. Another fan referenced her Selena Gomez and the Scene days, commenting “OMG OMG KISS & TELL ERA IS BACK.”

Since Sel is the reigning queen of TikTok, she also posted some memes rocking the new short style. Her latest post, however, shows her dancing in the mirror while eating a snack — a full-on mood, by the way. The sound she used paid homage to her Wizards of Waverly Place character, Alex Russo, which then transitioned into a new, unreleased song.

“So what? There’s a lot about me to love,” she lip-synced to the line she delivered on the show. Her new song then started playing, and it samples “I Feel Pretty” from the classic Broadway musical, West Side Story. If you can’t imagine what that’d sound like, take a listen:

Gomez has been busy with collaborations recently, and is set to appear on Coldplay‘s upcoming album on the track, “Let Somebody Go.” She also teamed up with Camilo for the Spanish single, “999,” which continues the singer’s recent dive into singing in Spanish.

“I feel pretty, oh so pretty / Just won’t be the prettiest one in the city / I feel pretty and I’m witty,” Selena sings on the track. The TikTok account for her beauty brand, Rare Beauty, even left a comment on the post: “need this song rn.” Same, Rare Beauty, same.

The song hasn’t been officially released yet, but with her new hair and this snippet, I feel the SG3 era coming on.
