Not a Drill: Beyoncé’s New Single “Break My Soul” Is Dropping Tonight

Beyonce has announced the upcoming release of a brand new single.

The songstress, 40, will be dropping Break My Soul tonight at midnight ET.

Beyonce posted news of the upcoming release to her Instagram and Twitter bios, not long after revealing she would be releasing her next album, Renaissance, on July 29.

“Break My Soul” will arrive just about two years after Beyoncé’s single “Black Parade,” which she released on June 19, 2020 in observance of Juneteenth. The track was eventually included on The Lion King: The Gift (Deluxe Edition) and also earned her the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance in 2021. With the award, Beyoncé became the winningest female artist in Grammy history.

When is the new album arriving?

We can expect Renaissance on July 29. It’ll be available on streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and YouTube Music.

Here’s an Instagram post with the release date, from Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles.

How many songs are on the album?

It looks like Renaissance will include 16 songs. If you pre-save the album on Apple Music, you can view a list of untitled tracks.

Here’s a picture of the current track list from Twitter. I pre-saved the album and saw the same thing.
