Day 14 Olympics highlights: Medals awarded in numerous track & field events

The Tokyo Olympics continue with some big surprises and lots of action. Here is everything what happened today.

Allyson Felix finished third in the 400 meter Friday to win her 10th career medal and become the most decorated woman in the history of Olympic track.

U.S. beach volleyball players April Ross and Alix Klineman beat Australia 21-15, 21-16 to win the gold medal and complete the set of Olympic medals for April Ross, who won a silver in 2012 and a bronze in 2016.

The United States women’s basketball team beat Serbia 79-59 in the semifinals and will advance to the gold medal game.

Jessica Springsteen and the U.S. equestrian jumping team have qualified for the finals and will compete for a second straight medal Saturday night.

McLain Ward was selected to compete at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

American Gable Steveson defeated Georgia’s Geno Petriashvili 10-8 to claim wrestling gold in the men’s freestyle 125-kilogram class.
