Have you ever had that exhausted feeling after a good laugh? You know, the one where your side hurts, your eyes water, you can’t catch your breath and your body is totally limp. It feels like you’ve just finished a two-hour session at the gym.
Research gives us hope that our old knock-knock jokes aren’t just making people feel better, but may actually be making them better. Laughter and exercise may share more in common than you think -- both can boost your health. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves -- watching funny movies all the time and telling jokes won’t lead to perfect health. Still, remembering that laughter has powerful benefits should get you smiling.
In our hurry to succeed and to have it all, we have shortened everything. We have fast food, fast banking, fast fun, fast shopping, fast everything. Life is really a long process on a short schedule and for that we need lots of laughter.
Just remember laughter is not expensive and can’t be bought in a shopping mall. We can’t pay others to laugh for us and get the same benefits. All of us can do it ourselves.
Who do you think is the funniest person in the world? Who could it be? Could it be Kevin Hart with his ridiculously funny hit movies? How about Will Ferrell in “Talladega Nights”? Or could it be Adam Sandler in "The Waterboy"?
