Hey, I'm Siena! I've been on Teen Kids News for quite some time now, and it has been so much fun. I have been able to report on site at a bunch of awesome locations, interview really fascinating people, make some cool stuff, and also sit at the TKN desk and become an anchor! Teen Kids News is a very fun family of people, and its always a hilarious, fun day in the studio when I get to film.
When I'm not filming for Teen Kids News I am studying to be an actor at my college. Acting is my real passion, and Teen Kids News has always been a really fun way to be around a studio and in front of a camera. I am very lucky to have been given the opportunity to learn so much about television from my time with TKN.
With all the segments I have done for TKN, I would have to say that my favorite was the segment I did along with the YES! Network for the Yankees. I would not say that I have been the sportiest person throughout my life, so when I was told I would be crafting a baseball mitt with my own bare hands I felt a tiny bit out of place. But once I got started it was one of the most hilarious experiences I've ever had. I wasn't really strong or coordinated enough to complete the mitt so the instructor had to do most of it for me, while I whispered to the camera that I had no idea what was going on! At the end of the day I walked away with a very official baseball mitt with my name stitched into it (not by hand).
I spend a ton of time with my sister, and my dogs when I am at home. I love eating with my family, and joking around when I get a chance to go home for the weekends. To keep healthy I love running, yoga, cycling and contact improv. I hope that someone reads this and maybe relates to something I've written, or sees me on TKN and enjoys the reports, laughs or takes action. Thank you all for watching. Really. It means a lot to us.
